If you search ebay for "nixie" you often get people charging fairly silly money for an old seven segment LED calling them "vintage" and even "nixie tube" Occasionally I'll point out the error of calling a solid state device a "tube" to the vendor via the feedback button and I'd encourage anyone here, who feels so inclined, to help stop this reckless dilution of terminology.
