Well, whoever bought them knows that when they get tired of these tubes, they can resell them and probably break even, or better. I sometimes wonder if these are passed-around thru various auctions every few years, from one person to the next.
I see a lot of parallels to those who collect more conventional forms of art. And I've seen a lot of art that makes me wonder what people were thinking they paid millions for it.
