If you know how to build a power supply already, then it is personal preference. There are quite a few ready-made ones available. My personal preference is the Taylor Edge HVPS because of its wide range of input voltages and the amount of control you have over the output (and it is very small). The power supply I have used most in my bread-boarding is this one: http://r.ebay.com/1swHVD because it is easy to connect and has a variable resistor to control the output voltage.
