I made more first nixie clock operation a few weeks ago, to discover one tube was weak. I ordered two more IN-12 tubes from another seller, which arrived finally today. and yes that work fine, but looking closely the two new tubes, appear slightly sharper then the ones that have been in service only a few week.. All these tubes are supposed to me new at time of purchase.
So I it common to be variance in the tubes? or more likely the first seller sold me used tubes instead of new.
