Hi,
Except for some special ones I always recommend these:
http://www.nocrotec.com/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p39_14-Nixie-Roehren-Fassungsbuchsen---vollvergoldet-.html
Especially for chinese tubes and for Russian tube (except IN-18) these or
equual should be used, but also National Electronics an Burroughs with
larger bases showed high divergence from the ideal pinout in many cases.
Best regads

Hi, Dieter,
Thanks for the note! While not millmax, they are quite similar, and to my
knowledge, they are not flexible. Can you point me to flexible receptacles
on the web? I am having a hard time finding what you might be referring to,
and cracks are very much something I would like to avoid.

Hi,
Did you use Millmax pin receptacles?
--> If yes, this can cause cracks in the frit of the 8091s. These always
should be sit in flexible pin receptacles. The millmaxes give too little
space for the pin circle tolearances.

Subject: [neonixie-l] NL8091 Board Trade?
Just finished testing a six-digit NL8091 clock (ESP32) PCB I designed and
had manufactured, and it works great! As you can tell from the photos
however, I require another NL8091. Anyone with an NL8091 interested in
trading one for the PCB shown, fully assembled ($250.00 value in board
manufacturing costs + parts)? I am also willing to sell the shown board for
$250.00 + shipping costs, but I only have four remaining, and folks trading
tubes have priority. Note: this boards uses shift registers - see schematic
below. Thanks!
