I'm sure that no one wants to hear this but the solution to most problems of this type is to use an email client. I'm a member of numerous groups and list-serves. All incoming message are routed to an appropriate mailbox on my computer. I only become aware of problems like this when someone else mentions it. I have decades of email in my archive and I can search through all of the messages from a group I joined 15 years ago.
