Don’t forget those ball shaped neon’s with messages as “LOVE”, “Home Sweet
Home” and so on….

About those Bienenkorb lamps: What is the voltage they need and do they need a
series resistor? Or do they run local at mains voltage?

Not sure if it suits your request, but there was a german bulb, called
"bienenkorblampe"

Very nice but very rare!

I had a larger one up to a few years ago, until I was careless and let it get
broken, that ran on 120 VAC and had a standard edison base like regular light
bulbs for household use. The bulb was about 2 inches in diameter. I think it
was from the 1950's. No idea what it's intended use was, because it produced
very little light.

Not counting the novelty bulbs (flickering flame, Flamingo, Heart shape) is
there an E27 type neon bulb available?
The largest I can find is an E14 bulb made by Elfin, Italy.

Would love a box of these by the way but I think they're only made to order
