Follow up: everyone has the M1183 listed as having the characters "Ω, +, –, [sine with horizontal line]". It's my understanding that the last character indicates AC current (as with the inverted sine). If anyone can tell me what the unicode or UTF-8 number for "sine with horizontal line" is I'd be very happy.
