Yes I wondered about that too, the schematics, design and process were well documented by Friedhelm Bruegmann. A commendable effort of design and wonderfully constructed.
There’s no doubt that Friedhelm’s clock is worth considerable money. I would love one if I had a spare dining room sized space to accommodate it!
