Rob,

I've not been directly affected. I live about 5 miles away from the main
Palisades fire. My house is in the middle of the city, so no real risk
there.

I do know people who have lost homes and it can get pretty overwhelming.
Being the mechanic / electrical guy, I've been repairing and shuttling
generators from friends and family mainly to keep lights on and food from
spoiling.

The last few days have felt a bit surreal, reminds me of covid times. Other
then that we are fine, count our blessings right?

The wind gusts here were absolutely insane for a day or two, have not seem
winds that strong for over a decade. I work at the airport and I spent at
least two evenings making sure small planes don't fly away on their own!

We're scheduled to have calmer winds starting Thursday. I hope so and hope
all the rest of my neighbors are doing alright.

Regards,
-Moses
