Thanks Greg and David.   I am sort of tempted to try a few of those HLL 
logic type H158 chips, because they have an identical pinout to the 8T01, 
but these HLL ones run at 10.8 to 20 volts, not the usual 5 volts.    I am 
not, however, up for trying any that datasheets cannot be located for.
Anyone have any idea about similarities and/or differences between genuine 
U.S. made 74141 and the Russian K155 versions?   I know they are
pin for pin compatible and work the same way, but I heard there are a few 
subtle differences.   Any ideas on that?  Thanks.   -Chuck
