I'm a big fan of IN-1s. I have two from March 1992 which means they were 
likely among the last ever produced. Now, I'm on the hunt for the earliest 
IN-1 I can find. From what I understand, these tubes have been in 
production since at least the early 1960s. I'd love to get my hands on one 
of those early units to compare it and ponder the fact that, despite its 
three decade long production span, they never saw the need to add mercury 
to the tube. 

The earliest one I have is from 1967. If anyone here happens to have an 
older one and would be willing to sell it, I would greatly appreciate a 
message.
