I'm a big fan of IN-1s. I have two from March 1992 which means they were likely among the last ever produced. Now, I'm on the hunt for the earliest IN-1 I can find. From what I understand, these tubes have been in production since at least the early 1960s. I'd love to get my hands on one of those early units to compare it and ponder the fact that, despite its three decade long production span, they never saw the need to add mercury to the tube.
The earliest one I have is from 1967. If anyone here happens to have an older one and would be willing to sell it, I would greatly appreciate a message.
