Hello Neotek folks-- So Jim Fowler (another list member) and I seemed to have solved the problem we were having with Buss 8 on our Series II. Bad pot-- problem solved. While we were in there, we decided to change all the pots. This introduced another problem.
On Buss 1, we do not get output. When we patch any other buss 2-8 to a channel everything is cool. When we patch buss 1 we get no signal, but we can hear the level changing as we turn the pot back and forth. We traced the output (which we are assuming is the bottom of the card) back to the resistor tied to the 7 pin of the TL074, and we do not get a voltage there. On all other busses we do. We changed out the chip and the problem persists. We pulled out that resistor and it's neighbor and they measure okay. The pot measures correctly, all the components seem to measure correctly. It seems like signal is getting *to* the opamp. So 2 things: 1. Does anybody have a scan of the schematic for the buss master card? 2. Does anybody have any idea what to look for? Also, if we want to start something that will allow users to upload documents and images, I would be happy to both host it and write he software to allow folks to easily share Neotek related stuff. I certainly have an interest in doing this.
