Folks-- I am potentially exposing my ignorance here, but when I am mixing and applying processing to the two mix (compression, EQ, ring modulator, etc.) I usually patch the device in between the two mix output and the 2-track and monitor off the returns from the the mixdown deck. Is there a better way to do this? I don't see how I can insert something via the patchbay and just listen through it without having to monitor off the 2-track.
So if there is a way to do this and I am just being boneheaded, by all means speak up! If not, is there a spot to pull off the card and bring to the patchbay? I more often than not EQ the 2-mix so it'd be very helpful to me.
