Hey Mike - I have a pretty complete manual for my Series I theater. I can probably scan the relevant pages for you, or if you're in L.A. I can lend you the whole thing..

Cheers,
Kai

Hello Everyone.

Trying to find some information on Series I-based Theater Consoles...have a 12 channel I'm trying to bring back to life.

For the most part the channels appear to be minor variations on Studio SI circuitry and I've been able to get everything sorted-out on this thing by manually tracing out and with the use of some standard Series I channel specs I was able to obtain a while back but was wondering if anyone knows much about the Preset Output Busses. The Pan and Left/Right buffer amps are set up a little differently than the standard studio version and the levels going to the Preset Master & Summing Channels and ultimately to the Stereo Master seem to be low and distorted. There appear to be several jumpers on the cards to allow for output routing options but until I trace out the entire circuit I'm not sure yet exactly what they're all doing. Also, is there anything strange in these with respect to phase relationships compared to Studio SI? The Left/Right amps (on the channel outputs) are setup as inverting if I'm looking at this correctly (They're normal on standard SI schematic)???

Need to get the scope on it and log some accurate measurements to see where I'm at. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, or maybe there's an issue...dunno. Just thought I'd throw this out there in the meantime in case anybody has some insight that may help.

BTW...Mic and Line Inputs and Direct Outs all appear to be fine.

Thanks in advance.
