Hi Jim, I'm also racking two modules that I bought from Ryan. I've racked a few preamps before and used the JLM power supplies with success. These power supplies can be tweaked up to 33 V per rail (I might be wrong, but it can definitely handle +/-18V). The +48V rail on these supplies is a bit flakey, in the old revisions of the PSU, JLM recommended a regulator that can only supply 38V but somehow because of the low current draw of Phantom power it was ok to use with a few phantom powered mics. (I know this sounds like mumbojumbo, it sounds like mumbojumbo to me! but that's what I was told then). Now these PSU's use voltage doublers and/or triplers. I'd like to know the current consumption per module too, so I know what power xformer to use.
Btw, the JLM PSU boards can be bought assembled or unassembled, I bought them unassembled. Ryan, you can buy the JLM PSU boards with parts (though you can get them for cheaper in the US), the values of the parts are written on the boards so you know where to put what.
