Hi Paul,
If you just re-capped it, check your work! Things to look for are:
polarized caps put in backwards, solder bridges shorting out adjacent
traces (be especially vigilant around pads for caps you replaced, I have
noticed lately that on single sided circuit boards, it's common for the
solder to spread a bit when being removed...can look just like it is
supposed to be there), wires that broke off while the circuit board was
being handled, ditto for connections for devices that are mounted
off-board, like pass transistors, etc.
