Many, many upgrades by pro techs. When I first purchased this console it was hard wired. I payed Primal gear of Nashville to do a complete rewire all with Mogami & Canare cabling all of the 1/4" and xlrs are brand new switchcraft / Neutrik. Below is a copy of the description I am putting together for ebay. The power supply has been recapped and a toggle switch added to turn on and off the phantom power. Also the last two series ones strips have custom preamps with la3a type compressors built in to them. The first two series1e's have a output trim mod that really smooth out the signal. The power supply has higher value capacitor's as well as the strips that have been recapped. The only issue I have with this board is the sub channel 8 in the master section has intermittent noise. I never use it so I was waiting on getting it fixed. The rewire was done in 2007 and the recapping in 2009. They did super clean work.
This is a Vintage Neotek Series 1e 24 x 8 split console it has been completely refurbished by Primal gear in NNashville in 2007. Recapped in 2009. It is loaded with 16 Series 1e modules & 8 Series 1 Modules. This has many upgrades and modifications. The sound of this board is AMAZING. Super clean honest gain and the a very musical eq. Outputs on every channel for a front end or mix down on this mixer for a real analog recording. This console is modular there fore any strip can be removed for repair with out effecting any other channel. Comes with an extra Fader's, connectors, paperwork from Primal gear. Owners manual with schematics, 8 blank fader panels and 8 blank module panels. It has been rewired with Mogami & Canare console cable. The 1/4" jacks and xlr connectors Switchcraft/Neutrik are new. The only issue with the console is sub channel 8 in the master section has an intermittent noise. This does not effect any other function.This is an amazing sounding board that is one of a kind. I do not want to part with. However I have three kids that consume my time & money. I do not need a console of this magnitude. I only record myself and my band. I have a small power full ITB studio set up that I will be running in the place of this console. This is your chance to own what everyone else wish they had. I have Apogee conversion and Genelec monitors along with a wide selection of instruments & high end microphones to test and run signal through.
