On my Series IIIc with the red clunky mute switches, I've taken the
switches apart and cleaned the 2 metal contacts (drop of Caig) and have
had some success. It's easy to lose the tiny spring, though.

I have 2 modules with replaced mute switches that work great. I need to
find that part # and see if I can source those. I would much rather
convert to that style.

I will need to take photos to show the new/old parts.
