what about doing one of the SSL 4000 compressor clones? it seems like
it would be a good fit as it is a relatively small circuit board. Not
to mention it sounds pretty good on the stereo buss!
If you had a channel blank, you could mount all the controls there.
The logistics of powering the unit and how/where to insert it in the
signal im still not sure about.
I intend to add this to a series 1e im going to be restoring this year.
What do you guys think?
