Further to this, if you are going to check out just one track from The Henrys "This is Tomorrow", check out "Swan Song".
best,
Ike

Thanks for the kind words, Kris. I think this makes you the 1st person to ever actually admit to clicking on a link and listening to one of these :-[ ... Here's another one, mixed on the Elite II: http://www.thehenrys.ca/ITT.html A great record, featuring really good players, and easily accessible as it is on iTunes. The two kids behind Flashlight Radio, Suzy and Ben are the offspring of folks that I have been working for / with for the past 30 years, but hey, I was younger than they are when I got started in this business!

P.S. Ike, If you ever find your self in southern California, I would love to have you completely go through my 36 channel Elan and just make it tip-top.

P.S.S. Ike, the last time you sent out an email of this type I really enjoyed it.
Turns out "flashlight Radio" is a really good band!

    Hi All,
Here's some links to a few CD's that were recorded and mixed
at a couple of studios that I do work for. Both have Elites (one
is an Elite II) which I have upgraded the master section on. The
Elite II has had all of the channels upgraded, the Elite has had
about a dozen done, and that's where a lot of the work gets done.
    Elite II:
http://www.tamblyn.com/albums.htm "Gyre", the 1st record on the
list, tracked and mixed. Most of the drums used the upgraded
Neotek mic pre's. While you are at this page, scroll down to "Over
my head", a terrific recording, that I had nothing to do with.
Hard to describe, but well worth owning.
    http://www.katherinewheatley.com/recordings.htm 1st CD again,
    tracked and mixed.
http://www.davet.ca/ "Lost Horizon", tracked and mixed.
    Elite:
    http://www.corinraymond.com/ I love this CD...sounds like they
are in the room with you. Tracked and mixed.
http://www.myspace.com/kensingtonhillbillys Two CD's "Bone in My
Back Yard" and "Tecumseh", both tracked and mixed. One track on
"Bones" was done at another studio...
I'm really happy with the way these records turned out. I
think they show that the Neotek "sound' is really almost a lack of
a sound...just transparency, which makes for some very intimate
sounding recordings. I'd love to hear what you think. Also, anyone
else who has a console that I've worked on, I'd love to know about
    any recordings you've done.
    All the best,
    Ike
