Hi,Im a Neotek owner, and even know I enjoy the Neotek list quitea lot, I
usually just like to check out whats going on, and maybelearn some things as
well, but I would like to say something. What would lead somebody to conclude a
12 channel split series one to think could be worth such a huge amount of
money?I love these consoles, and think they sound amazing, but evenin the best
of times, $6,000 would be pretty crazy, and correct meif im wrong, but last
time I checked, we are in a massive economicrecession, strongly heading into
the possibility of even harder times, not to mention the music industry is
already on its knees, waitingfor the death blow. It just really bothers me when
I see tough timesfor so many people and still I see jacked up prices, and
people seemingly pretending that nothing is wrong, and everybody shouldjust pay
like its 2005. Im sure the seller of this board is probablya stand up guy, and
the desk is probably really nice, but in
thetimes we are in right now, things can't get better until people
startthinking rationally and acting reasonable. I would think that a rational
offer would be about $2,500 IF the board is clean and fully functioning. Im
sure the seller has probably quite a lot investedinto the board over the time
he/she has owned it, and would probablylike to see some return on the
investment, as anybody would! But if you don't understand the economic
ramifications of dumping money into a console (similar to owning a boat) than
you should probably not be going down that road. Sorry for the rant.

Six grand is too much. Three might be appropriate depending on condition.
