Hello everybody.
My buddies at the studio are willing to recap their Series II.
I inspected the channel board and double checked with the schematics: there are
sixteen 10uF/25V bipolar caps on the channel circuit plus four 2,2uF/50V and
the
Aux little board.
Before I entered the game, they went ahead and bought the caps but they got all
polarized caps...
Is there a possibility for a polarized to work instead of a bipolar? (this
tells
you I am not really an expert but I can do the job!)
Speaking of bipolars, from where we live here in Italy, it looks like the only
option is Nichicon MUSE ES series.
I also looked at Elna RBS Silmic II series but they are out of reasonable reach.
What do you think?
Anyone in Europe that could point to a resource for finding those?
I could only find some 10uF/50V here in Italy and 150 10uF/25V in UK.
The board has 28 channels so that's 450 pieces of the 10uF.
