damn, man. I'm having this same issue but on a 20-channel Series II!

I know the A&H Mix Wizard boards, and they're great. aside from
that, and the Soundcraft stuff, can anyone suggest a decent
smaller-format mixer in the six to eight channel range? anything
bigger is likely to be too large and too pricey for this
application, at least for me. it would have to be cheaper than the
cost of adding more effects returns to our Neotek.

did they make the 200B in an 8-channel model?

what I really would love to be able to afford is something like the
8-channel Toft board, but that's almost $4K....
