I just purchased a four channel compressor that can be switched from balanced to unbalanced. I would like to use the sends and returns on the back of each channel aswell as the sends and returns on my sub channels. Should I purchase a 1/4" balanced or unbalanced snake. I guess what I'm asking are the sends and returns balanced on a series 1e console. All my other outboard gear has xlr ins and outs so I've been using balanced 1/4" to xlr.
