Ok, I've read it, and here there are my remarks: it is a _very_ ambitious project, and I think that free software world lacks at least libraries capable of understanding words, I mean, except from DragonFly on Windows, I think that voice recognition programs/libraries are almost unexistent (but if I'm wrong, then correct me please!). There is one thing that is part of what Nepomuk wants to create, and that's the semantic integration of any kind of information on your computer: links between emails, contacts, photo metadata, calendars, documents and so on, I strongly believe that this is the first step that we need to achieve, and that's a strong target also for this KDE project: integration with the underlying semantic engine has to be done, to allow this first step. Once achieved this, well then I think possibilities are almost infinite :)
But hey, I'm a part of this community only from a couple of months, so other people reading here will be able to judge your ideas even better than me, in respect of what are KDE Nepomuk aims... -- Sivieri Alessandro alessandro.sivi...@gmail.com http://www.chimera-bellerofonte.eu/ http://www.poul.org/
