Hi,
I installed the last experimental nessus:
--------------------
nessus (Nessus) 1.1.12 for Linux
(C) 1998, 1999, 2000 Renaud Deraison <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
SSL used for client - server communication
--------------------
and when I started to scan some hosts nothing happend. The weird thing is
that nessus scan a wrong IP address.
I launch nessus from the console:
% nessus -T html localhost 1241 user password target scan.html
where target is a plain text file that contains only ONE IP address (e.g.
192.168.10.14), but when it finished in the report appears 192.168.10. as
the Ip scanned :( and obviously none vulnerability was found.
Now I'm downloading the stable version of nessus, but I wanted to try the
experimental one.
That's all
Thank you
