I have a question\problem with running command line Nessus, and am hoping someone has overcome this in the past.
The creation of the .nessusrd file happens, apparently, only when the Nessus Gtk client is used to connect to the Nessus server on the local machine, is the .nessusrc file created. This is problematic somwehat as I would like to use remote clients to set command line options on a seperate machine... any suggestiojns? Additionally, when trying to run individual nasl scripts, I get the following error: yahoo_dos.nasl : Warning : evaluation unknown variable - description I get this error no matter what nasl file I try to run. Now, in reading the contents of any of the nasl files, I see the script_id(xxxx). Can a custom .nessusrc be created based on this script ID? Any help would be appreciated.
