I don't have access to the windows client where I'm at now. But iirc there
are 3 places that I disabled this Go under Communications -> plugin list
-> Port Scanners -> Ping Remote Host (this is a tcp ping). The other part
is under the Plugin Preferences menu -> Ping Remote host and under nmap
settings. I forst if disabling if one of these places is all encompasing
but those are the places to look.
