Greetings, I have a quick question on the "Anonymous ftp with writeable directories plugin", running on version 1.0.10.
My goal is to scan a range of IPs to lock down servers that mistakenly were left open with anon FTP with write access. I tried running the scan on both a redhat and a solaris box running 1.0.10 and while running snoop on the target found that it wasn't doing anything with ONLY the FTP Writeable plugin. I then selected both Anonymous FTP (thinking it is required?) as well as FTP Writeable. Snoop showed that the anonymous ftp plugin worked like a champ, but the ftp writeable was still not working. I am wondering if anyone has seen a problem with the FTP Write plugin? It almost seems like it is hanging and waiting for the timeout. I modified the plugin config and tried both "trust the permissions" and "attempt to store a file", no luck with either. Has anyone else experienced such a problem with this plugin?
