For the record...  What is 'replacing' this dead client.  It definitely filled an 
need.

   Also, Does this question merit an FAQ entry, or did I just miss the FAQ 
that answers this question?

P.S.  How hard would it be to 'resurect' this client to handle both PEKS and 
SSL (1.0.x, 1.1.x/1.2.x) style connections?

In this case, curiosity killed the George... ;)
