I got that too on my Mandrake 8.1 box.  My fix was to
do a "find / -name [nameoffile]" then copy to a
location named in my $PATH.  Clunky solution I know
(sym link or adding to your $PATH will work too and
save space), but I'm getting lazy in my old age.
