Is it possible to input nessus data into an Excel spreadsheet? I wish to create some custom reports once the data is in Excel.
I've looked at the NSR format, and notice that fields are separated by "|". However, this doesn't sepearate some information into their own fields. Maybe the XML output is my best option? Is this easily input into Excel? I notice there are also soe options to create nessus output in a MySQL database. This looks like a single table so an Excel spreadsheet would work fine too. Any idea on how to take advantage of this? Any other ideas or suggestions?
