Yes I renamed .nessusrc and de-installed the old Nessus.

Unfortunately, while I was getting 1.0.8 re-installed and configured, it
core dumped because the ld.so.conf was pointed to the 1.2.1 nessus libs in
/usr/local. The 1.0.8 core overwrote the 1.2.1 core. If it happens again I
will get the backtrace.

They are as empty as the files I told it to save, or filled with only
timestamp lines and no results.

I was also unable to get encrypted communications working between server
and client. Looks like my libssl is very old, 0.9.5a. This whole system
needs an upgrade, I guess. But I have 1.0.8 working again and will have to
use it for now.
