Hi
my question probably is very common, but i don't find it in the archivies:

i have installed Nessus 1.2.3 on FreeBSD 4.5 with the ports,
when i start nessus with the port-scan using nmap, it don't advance;
i have disabled the UDP scan and i try few ports but there is no difference;
here is the log:

[Fri Jul 12 11:14:48 2002][25241] user tampieri starts a new attack. Target(s) : luke.x.x.x, with max_hosts = 10

[Fri Jul 12 11:38:50 2002][25241] user tampieri : Kept alive connection

luke.x.x.x is in the same network of the pc where run nessusd,
i have seen in the archivies that doing ps -ef  i have to see the nmap process,
but in my process list there isn't.

I have tested my nmap from command line and is all OK,

nmap -sT -n -P0 -p 1-600 -r x.x.x.x

Starting nmap V. 2.54BETA34 ( www.insecure.org/nmap/ )
Interesting ports on  (x.x.x.x):
(The 599 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed)
Port       State       Service
22/tcp     open        ssh

Nmap run completed -- 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0 seconds

There is someone that can give me help?
It is only a problem of mine?

Thanks
Luca
