Hi, I have installed Nessus 1.2.3, both the server and the client, under SuSE Linux 8.0.
The first time I compiled the client there where some GTK-libraries missing, so I run configure with the --disable-gtk option. Everything worked fine. Now I have installed the missing libraries and I try to compile the client again with GUI enabled. configure without any option does its job without errors. The make and the make install do the same. But when I try to start nessus (without -q for batch mode) it says: Ooops ... This nessus version has no gui support. You need to give nessus the arguments SERVER PORT LOGIN TRG RESULT as explained in more detail using the --help option. Nessus works fine in this batch mode, but I would be happy if I get the GUI working. Johannes
