There are two files you can look at, nessusd.messages (in 
$PREFIX/var/nessus/logs/) and the current Nessus results file, located in 
/tmp and named something like nessus-XXXXX. You need to have the "log 
whole attack" option in nessusd.conf enabled for the nessusd.messages to 
be any real value.
