Nessus is designed to find vulnerabilities.  Spyware, although annoying and 
intrusive, is not generally considered a vulnerability.  The best product 
for identifying and eliminating spyware seems to be Ad-aware from Lavasoft 
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com).
