I am running nessus 1.2.5 on RH 7.1. All I am doing is a bare bone Nmap port scan. This is causing some Solaris machines to become un-responsive. These machines have the default Solaris install with pretty much all ports open. Locking down the machines does fix the problem, but due to some political issues, I cannot do the same for all the machines. Is there any anything I can tweak in nessus to take care of the problem? Any ideas will be appreciated.
