I recently upgraded Nessus from version 1.0 to 1.2.5, but have not upgraded Nmap. All I am doing is a Nmap port scan. What I am seeing is that the machines that did not have any problems before, are now having their inetd locked up. Since Nmap has not changed, I don't know what is causing this behavior. Does anybody know what can cause this? And also what can I do to fix it?
