Steffin, Do you have Net::SSLeay module installed? Also, does Nikto work directly from the command line with SSL?
Please email me directly as this may be OT for the Nessus list (if not we can come back for help). If anyone else is having similar problems please feel free to contact me & I'll see what I can do to help or fix the code if necessary. -Sullo Quoting Hartmut Steffin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > hi *, > i have a problem getting nikto to do scans on https. nikto reports "ssl > support not available", though openssl is installed and in the path > (/usr/bin/openssl). i did not find s.th. in nikto.conf to point it to > the location or otherwise configure nikto/ssl. any help appreciated. > > Here is the nikto report: > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > - Nikto v1.21 - www.cirt.net - Wed Nov 27 10:26:07 2002 > -***** SSL support not available (see docs for SSL > install instructions) ***** > + No HTTP(s) ports were found open on the server. > > my system: suse 7.3 > > # rpm -q openssl > openssl-0.9.6b-34 > > tia > Hardy > > > - > [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. > * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with > "unsubscribe nessus" in the body. > - [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe nessus" in the body.
