I think this script has a logic issue with it. The key one is that if for whatever reason the script is executed in a configuration such that get_port_state returns TRUE (i.e. port _MAY_ be open), and the port is NOT, then it will report a false positive, since the security warning at the bottom is executed if the port was in fact closed.
