A quick search of CERT's (http://www.cert.org/) advisories turns up 5 for statd so it's hard to give a definite answer without more info from your nessus report. Still, you might want to investigate any Bugtrack / CVE ids reported as part of the warnings. George -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
