Can someone explain to me why some hosts get resolved to 255.255.255.255 by
nessus? Ie:

[Tue Feb 18 12:53:17 2003][27353] Client requested protocol version 12.
[Tue Feb 18 12:53:18 2003][27353] successful login of na from 127.0.0.1
[Tue Feb 18 12:53:29 2003][27353] Redirecting debugging output to
/usr/local/var
/nessus/logs/nessusd.dump
[Tue Feb 18 12:53:31 2003][27353] user na : session will be saved as
/usr/local/
var/nessus/users/na/sessions/20030218-125331-index
[Tue Feb 18 12:53:31 2003][27353] user na starts a new attack. Target(s) :
www.j
ackie-oliver.co.uk, with max_hosts = 30
[Tue Feb 18 12:53:36 2003][27353] user na : testing 255.255.255.255 [27354]

It took the host www.jackie-oliver.co.uk and then announced on the last line
it was testing 255.255.255.255.

I'm confused.
