Have you ensured the client isn't running some sort of personal firewall (eg,
ZoneAlarm) that's blocking the connection?

Have you ensured the server allows connections from the client host to
the Nessus daemon? For example, are you using tcp_wrappers and just
forgot to enable access for that one host? Or are you listening on an
interface that's not reachable from the one client?

Finally, have you tried tracing packets using something like tcpdump on
the server side or WinDump on the client?
