I don't have a password-protected proxy to test this out, but I wonder if lynx is ignoring the pauth option and using just the environment variable http_proxy, which would contain only the host/port of the proxy. Does the problem exist if you define proxy as something like "user:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:8099"? George -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
