It turns out this is a tcpwrappers problem. It was probably configured with D_PARANOID, and there's no reverse DNS for the hostname. Using an IP address instead solved this particular issue. -- The DMCA is anti-consumer. The RIAA has no right to rewrite copyright laws to suit themselves.
