Hi I recently tried scanning an entire subnet. I noticed that nessus started scanning all the ip's, but quickly (after a few seconds) discarded all but one of them. I thought this meant the IP's were down and assumed the results were correct.
Now I noticed that when I scan each IP separately, Nessus does continue scanning and finds vulnerabilities on almost each of these IP's. How is this possible? Has any had similar experiences? Any feedback would be welcome. tnx tom
