I am trying to complete a SANS-Top-20 scan on a class C subnet holding about 145 hosts. I have tried two different machines running OpenBSD 3.3 and Nessus 2.0.6. Both are PIII with 500Mhz. One machine has 128 meg of ram and the other has 384. Both demonstrate the same behavior. Somewhere between 10 and 10 hosts into the scan, the client stops and the report window comes up. At this time, there are several nessusd's still running in the background. The error in the syslog is:
nessusd: stack overflow in function forward. Any ideas? Thank You Michael Cullen Sr. Security Engineer Universal Music Group (818) 777-4049
