Hi

During the process of penetration testing for our
client nessus told that
"It was possible to disable the remote FTP server
by connecting to it about 3000 times, with
one connection at a time"
the nasl script telling this is
"goodtech_ftpd_dos.nasl".

But even after a successful attack I'm able to connect
the client server. So I ran nasl script standalone to
verify. Nasl gave the output as "success" and now also
I 'm able to connect to the remote ftp server even
when the nessus and nasl report to crash the service.

Any clues?

Regards,
Bishan
